Few words about me
After training at Spurgeon's College in London, Vic served as a pastor for eight years, before becoming the first British Director of Evangelism Explosion. He later became Vice-President
For the same organization, for all of Europe, before setting up Hope Now, which he served for 25 years until poor health forced him into retirement. Retirement has given Vic the freedom to care for his wife Sue, through the years of her struggle with Alzheimer’s until her death in July 2017. Undeterred by age, Vic still seeks to serve through his writing and occasional videos.

Projects
Most projects will be through preaching, teaching and mentoring, but very occasionally a practical project such as finding a church to twin with a Ukrainian church like Stepanki or to encourage short term service with Kompas Park may be appropriate.
Stepanki Church
Over the many years that I have worked in Ukraine, I have been enormously impressed by the positive faith of the Christians in Cherkasy Oblast. God has honoured that by granting significant results in the planting and growth of new churches in the many towns and villages.
Even more impressive than that, has been the extent to which so many of the pastors have shown the way in opening their homes and churches to care for orphans. Stepanki is just one such church. You can hear their story here. Here is an opportunity for an overseas church to twin with Stapanki. If your church is interested, please contact me.
Anna Medinska (nee Semenenko) and Serhii
In 1996, I met a little girl who was brought into the Rescue Shelter from the streets of Cherkasy. It was my great privilege down through the years to support Anna and her siblings, whose parents had been denied parental rights because of alcohol abuse.
What a joy it was for me to marry Anna and Serhii in prison, where Serhii is still serving his sentence. Their amazing story is told in this interview. In this project, I am seeking to raise sufficient funds to help the young couple and their baby, Mariam, to have a village home in which to build a life together.
Kompas Park
As the founder of Kompas Park, I am so very happy to support Svitlana Kravchenko, it’s director and her team. Because of the ongoing pandemic, it has not been possible to invite children or adults to make use of the excellent camping facilities at Khreshchatyk.
However, this has provided the ideal opportunity for Svitlana to engage in an online training course provided by Steinbach College to improve her skill base. Hopefully, there will be a vaccination by next summer, and once again home grown and overseas volunteers will be needed to welcome the children back.

I seek to draw out of these few verses, what I believe to be the Apostle's intention to elevate humility and service to the position of pre-eminence, by using a literary structure akin to a classical composer constructing a symphony in four movements, to reach a grand finale to lift the humble service of Epaphroditus as the heights of spiritual worship.
